It is a tradition each year on the anniversary of his commemoration for the CT Quiet Corner to learn more about Martin Luther King, Jr., his movement, and the important role he played in the history of the United States. This year is the 5th anniversary of the MLK Breakfast, but because of COVID-19, this wonderful breakfast tradition will be held virtually on January 18, 2021 at 10:00 am. Our Keynote Speaker is Bill Dyson, a former CT State Representative who is currently the Chair of the Racial Profiling Prohibition Project that is seeking to educate police departments and communities on injustices caused by racial profiling, and to eradicate the systems that violate the rights of people of color within Connecticut.

Please join the MLK Committee via Zoom to recognize the contributions made by Martin Luther King, Jr. to our nation and celebrate his life.
